Residential rules

• Respect All: Treat coaches, staff, teammates, and opponents with the utmost respect, both on and off the pitch. Disrespect, bullying, or insubordination will not be tolerated.
• Fair Play: We promote fair play and integrity. Always accept the referee’s decisions and play by the rules.
• Listen to Coaches: Always listen and follow the instructions of your coaches and staff. They are here to help you improve and stay safe.
• No Unauthorized Leaving: Players are not permitted to leave the residence grounds without the explicit permission of the head coach or resident director.
• No visitors: Visitors are only allowed during designated times and with prior approval from the resident director.
• Reporting: All players must immediately report any injury, illness, or suspicious activity to a staff member.
• Be on Time: Punctuality is a key attribute of a professional. All players must be on time for training sessions, meals, team meetings, and academic sessions.
• Lights Out: Adhere to the designated lights-out time to ensure you get the proper rest needed for your body to recover.
• Proper Attire: All players must wear the official AO2 training kit during all training sessions and team events.

Facility & Equipment Usage

• Keep it Clean: Players are responsible for keeping their rooms and all communal areas clean and tidy. A daily room inspection may be conducted.
• Proper Care: All training equipment and facility amenities are the property of the academy. Use them with care and report any damage immediately.
• No Playing in Rooms: Playing football or engaging in rough play is strictly prohibited within the residential buildings.
• No Drugs or Alcohol: The use or possession of drugs, alcohol, or tobacco products is strictly forbidden and will result in immediate dismissal from the residence.
• No Weapons: The possession of any kind of weapon or dangerous object is not allowed.
• No Stealing: Any form of theft will result in immediate dismissal and possible legal action.
• Phones: Mobile phones are allowed but must be switched off or on silent during all training sessions, team meetings, and academic sessions. A designated phone-free time may be enforced at the resident director’s discretion.

Consequences for Violations:

Failure to comply with these rules will result in disciplinary action, which may include but is not limited to:

• A formal verbal warning.
• Suspension from training sessions.
• Dismissal from the residence without a refund.
